Charles PhilipsPastor, Charles Philips:
Our Pastor is Rev. Charles Philips. Pastor Charles and his wife, Chris, have been married for 32 years and have four children (a missionary, two college students, and a film maker). Pastor Charles has been ordained in the Presbyterian Church for 27 years, and is the fifth generation pastor in his family (the missionary son is the sixth). Since ordination he has served the Lord in three churches, one in Pennsylvania, one in Florida and since 2002 at Overbrook. His passion is to preach Biblical, Christ-centered, positive, practical, and challenging sermons; to encourage a family atmosphere where all are welcomed and safe; and to motivate the people of God to go into the world to serve people; and to proclaim the “good news” of Jesus Christ.
